Boost Your Sales Letter Conversions In Three Easy Steps

They say that making small changes can lead to big changes. This has never been more true than with sales letters. Many times when I have made a small change to my sales letter, the results have been extraordinary. Of course, a small change can also have a ripple effect that actually lowers my conversions.

However, this doesn’t mean that you should ever stop testing. Many times these tests can multiply your profits to heights you never imagined, all without any extra advertising or an increase in sales page visitors.

Every sales letter is its own unique beast. You must take into account the niche as well as the product. What works well in one niche, could flounder in another. That said, here are a few tips that work for any sales letter:

Keep the background white

I have tried colored backgrounds and ones filled with fancy graphics on all of my sales pages, but a plain old white background has always out pulled those backgrounds by a wide margin.

Replace the word “buy” with “investment”

This is a psychological trigger that instills confidence. Don’t tell your prospects they are buying a product from you. Instill in them the confidence that they are making an investment in themselves when they own your product.

Place a credit card graphic by the order button

This makes your order button easy to find and tends to set your customers apprehensions about buying from you at ease.

By putting these small changes into your sales letter, you will find that your conversions will start to climb higher. The worst-case scenario is that these changes don’t work, which means the potential benefits far outweigh the risks!

Does Online Marketing Make You Happy?

They say that money can’t buy happiness, and for many of the well to do people I know, this is right on the mark. It seems that many of the successful online marketers I know never seem to take the time to enjoy their success. It is amazing how different your perspective on life can change when you actually take the time to appreciate your accomplishments.

You and only you have total control over your happiness. It isn’t a tangible thing that you can put on your credit card and pay off later. Happiness is a state of mind that takes a lot of practice and believe it or not, work. It is much easier to be unhappy and miserable, than to work at being happy each and every day. So many successful people fall into the trap of always planning for the future, but not appreciating the present. They become so focused on their goals, that they can’t enjoy any success they have.

I don’t see a point in being successful if you can’t even enjoy it. Instead of reaching a goal and instantly moving onto the next one, you should allow yourself to feel joy and happiness for your accomplishments.

Finding happiness and satisfaction isn’t about winning trophies or becoming wealthy. Once you get over the elation of being wealthy, most people begin to take it for granted. Then they fall back into the same trap of wishing for more and generally being unhappy.

Life is about filling each day with happiness and becoming satisfied with who you are. If you can’t enjoy your success, then you need to ask yourself why you even bother at all. The answer to this question can change your life dramatically.
